Colimoro is a ruby-red wine with the aroma of driedcherries accented with a hint of spice. The medium bodied wine is fruit forward and balanced by moderate acidity and soft tannins.

Wine maker notes
Colimoro is produced entirely from Montepulciano grapes grown in the Abrutium hills. These hillside vineyards located between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea provide a distinctive micro climate. The finest grapes are selected and fermented under temperature controlled conditions. After maceration and fermentation the wine is transferred to large Slavonian oak casks where it is aged for six months.
This is an easy to drink wine that is an excellent accompaniment to tomato based pasta dishes as well as grilled meats and pizza.
