Carignano, of Spanish origin and the blendís predominant grape, has found its perfect terroir in the warm, well-exposed Sardinian terrain. The grapes come from vines grown in the Basso Sulcis region on calcareous clay and sand soil. Hand harvested whole bunches are destemmed, crushed and macerated on the skins for several days prior to fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine is oak aged before blending and bottle aging.
