Domaine Fournier is one of the most important estates in the Sancerre area of France. Their 222 acres of vineyards are spread across the appellation and include top sites in the villages of Verdigny, Bue and Maimbray. Their state-of-the-art winery is designed to minimize handling of the grapes and allow for careful selection on sorting tables. The estate is directed by Claude Fournier, the 9th generation of his family to produce wine. He is dedicated to producing top quality wines of elegance and finesse.
|30+ year old vines from a single parcel near St. Gemme planted on soils containing flint and small amounts of limestone and clay. The must fermented for three weeks in stainless steel with no malolactic and the wine matured on its fine lees.
