A delicate, ruby red wine which conveys elegance and complexity in the nose. With fragrant aromas of strawberry, laced with cherry and clove notes. The wine is gentle on the palate and has a persistent finish.
Wine Advocate 87 points - The 2012 ONA Pinot Noir is produced from Leyda fruit that is transported to the winery in Cachapoal and is the top range from the three Pinot Noirs they produce. It has a bright ruby color and a red fruit nose with candied aromas of sweet cherries and lollipop as well as some spicy, musky notes. With a medium-bodied palate and equally spicy red fruit flavors, it is quite straightforward, easy to drink and pleasant, with a metallic note on the entry, but there is sufficient fruit underneath, and a crisp, red cherry and raspberry finish that is clean and focused if not terribly complex. Drink now-2016. (Jun 2014)
