Vinous 89 points - Deep golden yellow. Sumptuous aromas of botrytis spice, with hints of fig, raisin, vanilla and a whiff of rosehip. Rich on the palate, with a deep, creamy sweetness nicely balanced and enlivened by ripe acidity. Finishes spicy and long, with a persistent flavor of honeyed pear.

A smooth, harmonious wine with an appealing combination of flavors and aromas, including fresh fruit (apricots, peaches, quince) and spices (vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg), surrounded by subtle notes of wood. A great aperitif by itself, or served with foies gras. Pairs well with poultry, veal and fish, particularly in cream-reduction sauces. A perfect complement for Roquefort, blue cheese or a warm pear tart.
