Our mission with the Colavita wines was to find thebest regions in Italy for each wine in the brand portfolio. Ripasso is a style of wine made from a blend of partially-dried red grapes. Our Ripasso is made with Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grapes and comes from the Valpolicella appellation in the province of Veneto. The warm, Adriatic coastal plains and river valleys in the region of Italy are ideal for Valpolicella Ripasso.

The Colavita family traces its roots to the small town of Sant’Elia a Piansi, where, four generations ago, Giovanni Colavita founded the family olive oil tradition and Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil was born.
