Wine Advocate 88 points - The 2012 Aspro Classic is Gentilini’s popular (if unusual) blend of Tsaoussi (40%), Muscat (30%) and Sauvignon Blanc (30%), from the PGI Slopes of Aenos. It comes in at 13.5% alcohol. This is a charming vintage for this bottling. Seeming relatively dense in its youth this year, although still on the lighter side, it has plenty of its typical, crisp notes on the finish. It is, of course, considering the blend, loaded with personality, displaying powerful aromatics and notes of grass. If that is a bit more personality than you want, take note. It is a perfect summer wine, though. This year’s version may last longer in theory, but drink it fresh and young for best results. There were approximately 12,000 bottles produced. Drink now-2015 (Apr 2013)

Wine maker notes
Select harvesting of grapes from the Minies region and vinification in steel tanks. Complex and balanced, medium bodied with subtle floral fruit with citrus, melon and honey notes.

Our Domaine is located in Vergisson, a picturesque village perched up high in the hills at the heart of the historic Solutre and Vergisson site, in southern Burgundy. The vineyards stretch over 6 hectares in two appellations: Pouilly Fuisse and Saint-Veran. Our artisanal approach to viticulture allows us to use ecological and natural methods of cultivation. Working the soil is an integral part of our labour, manual work is valued and the harvest is carried out by hand. Our painstaking work, from cultivation in the vineyards to aging in the cellars, results in pure, rich wines of character, reflecting the terroirs of Vergisson. The Domaine produces four wines from Pouilly-Fuisse and one from Saint-Veran.
