With a view to further broadening their alliance formed with the creation of Chryseia, Bruno Prats and the Symington family are releasing a new wine which they have named "Post Scriptum”, inspired by the initials of their joint venture, ‘Prats & Symington’ and developed as a natural extension of the Chryseia project. Post Scriptum will fulfill a complementary role alongside Chryseia, released in those years when the Douro’s climatic conditions have been just short of the ideal. Post Scriptum is produced in a more precocious style, ready to drink sooner, while maintaining considerable cellaring potential. Like Chryseia, Post Scriptum is sourced from the Symington family’s finest upper Douro vineyards and is crafted by the same winemaking team. The 2002 Vintage is the first release.
