Deep garnet with an expressive bouquet of blackcurrant and blackberry with subtle hints of vanilla. A rich, creamy palate with good concentration, well-integrated tannins and a balanced lingering finish. A succulent wine with great potential.
Created in 1991, the estate was purchased in 2000 by Madeleine and Jacques Philippe, who realized their dreams when their wine obtained Cru Bourgeois status in 2003. The meticulously farmed plots, situated on a hilly terrain of gravely soil with underlying calcareous clay, have been gradually grouped together and replanted and the winemaking facilities are thoroughly modern.
