Alizé Cognacs, produced by the house of L&L, are composed of eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois and Bons Bois areas of the Cognac region. These are referred to as the "crus" of Cognac. Alizé Cognacs are further distinguished in their use of the Folle Blanche grape, one of the oldest and rarest varieties in the Cognac vineyard. This variety lends lovely aromas of linden and violet to the brandies as well as generosity and longevity.
Distilled in the only existing distillery in the heart of the town of Cognac, Alizé Cognacs are matured in oak barrels from the Limousin region of France crafted by master coopers who have served our company from its beginning, and gently aged in our cellars on the banks of the Charente River.
